The Summary: Good afternoon everyone, and happy Friday! We are at the end of the first week of reading My Year of Meats by Ruth L. Ozeki. I am very much enjoying this work of fiction, and I think it's going to get even better. I've heard through the grapevine that the book will depict the abuses of the meat industry in the coming chapters.This week, we discussed the two main characters, Jane and Akiko, as well as reality television. I appreciate those who commented, and I look forward to discussing more of the book during the month.
